The Webbed Hollow
In Chapter 72 of "Journey to the West," the main location is The Webbed Hollow. The local keeper introduces this place to Sun Wukong: "Under The Webbed Hollow, there's a cave called Webbed Hollow. Inside this cave, there are seven female Yaoguai. Just south of Webbed Hollow, there is a hot spring called the DiGou Spring (Cleansing Spring). It was originally the bathing pool of the Seven Celestial Maidens, but after the Yaoguai took it over, the maidens stopped coming."
In the original story, Zhu Bajie (Pigsy) turns into a catfish at the Cleansing Spring to flirt with the seven female Yaoguai.
Not far from Webbed Hollow, there is a Taoist temple called the Temple of Yellow Flowers. The master of this temple is the elder brother of the seven female Yaoguai. When Tang Sanzang and his disciples arrive at the Temple of Yellow Flowers, they are poisoned by the Taoist priest. Sun Wukong struggles against the priest's magical weapon and has to summon Pilan Po to subdue the Yaoguai. Later, they discover that the Taoist priest is actually a centipede Yaoguai, and his seven junior sisters are all spider Yaoguai.
